So, I'm talking to my friend Noah, and he accuses me of being nerdy. And so I say, "You're one to talk." He responds, I kid you not:

"The only nerdy things I do are D&D and WoW."

Well, for starters, he plays 40k. And Torchlight.

Gaming Rant!

Yes folks, it's time for a gaming rant!
So, my friend Noah gifted me Torchlight, and it is addicting. I can't stop playing it. If I'm playing a game, it's that or TF2. So, the sequel, Torchlight II (hereon known as "TL2") was supposed to come out in June. But nooooooooo. Now it's "sometime in 2011." Sure. So folks, I've been waiting a long time, and it's not coming anytime soon...

Damn, Congress is getting SNEAKY!

So, I'm doing my daily news trawl, and I come across this article talking about how the Judiciary Committee passed a bill requiring ISPs to compile and retain lists of "customers' names, addresses, phone numbers, credit card numbers, bank account numbers, and temporarily-assigned IP addresses." Normally, I'm not that worried about this stuff, but this is basically a list of who you are and where you are on the internet. Who could get ahold of this? Would you want me to have a list like that of you guys?

Ed, Edd, and Eddy

Ok, someone asked what I don't like about Ed, Edd, and Eddy.

Ok, so for starters, I hate the art style. (Yes, I know hate is a strong word, but I really do.) It makes me think of puke. Or those ugly greens on mid-century modern furniture. (Don't even get me started.)

Second, I just never liked that kind of humor. Yes, I'm sure you're all like "All little kids like that," but I think I skipped that phase. Probs has to do with the fact I didn't watch practically any TV until I was like 12-13.

(Enter mother carrying coffee! Yay! So glad I'm not mormon. No offense, Noah E.)

Anyways, I think that might be it. I kinda skipped that phase. I also think that might be partially to blame for my, er, social skill deficiency? (I know, shocking. I have no social skills. But still more than some people I know.) Anyways, I just think it's stupid. So there. I'm too sophisticated for it! (Hehe...) Bye all! Comment!

Movie night!

So it's movie night, and tonight, at 7:30, I'm going to see "Stop Making Sense," the Talking Heads Movie. (IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088178/) So yays! Also, my friend, Noah (noahss2.blogspot.com) is getting together a modified D&D game, and that could be awesome or awful.

On another note, I saw the new Transformers movie. It was, of course, crap. No plot line, no character development, just 2.5 hours of explosions punctuated by kissing scenes. So, yeah. Don't go see that.

Also, why can't a tag have the "&" symbol? Silly blogger.
